This is a presentation which provides contextual information on the legal, regulatory and policy framework. It also covers topics such as risk analysis, traceability, rapid alert system, official control systems, EU import conditions, and mandatory as well as voluntary food labeling. This presentation was delivered at the 10th EDF SPS Project Final Conference and Symposium held in Christ Church, Barbados, on 23 February 2017.
