Committed to ensuring that the scientific outcomes are accessible to all stakeholders, the project produced a range of communications products that give key messages to fishers, industry managers, vendors and consumers on how climate change is affecting the Caribbean fisheries sector and what to do to adapt. A baseline study of knowledge-attitude-and-practice related to climate change and fisheries informed the selection of formats to share project research: a two-part video documentary with an accompanying discussion guide, a series of posters and a series of PowerPoint slides for use by fisheries officers. Taken together, these communications tools will help to mobilize the diverse target populations toward strategic action.
