Caribbean Regional Frame work "Green Paper"

This is a compendium of 8 draft Protocols selected from the proposed suite of 21, designed as a complete system for an EU-‐equivalent pre-requisite and control programme. A key feature of the Caribbean Fisheries Regional SPS Framework is the establishment of mechanism to adopt regionally agreed Standards, Protocols and Guidelines. Nineteen (19) draft Protocols have been prepared, along with Guidelines on Developing and Implementing HACCP Plans for Fish and Fishery Products. The draft Protocols are designed to provide a complete system for an EU-equivalent pre-requisite and control programme. They cover a range of topics such as Biosecurity Control, Facility Food Safety System, Product Storage, Fishery Product Traceability, Transport, and Welfare and Safety. The Draft Guidelines address the development and implementation of HACCP Plans for Fish and Fishery Products.
