English Manual: The Manual describes good practices to be adopted by fisheries business operators in shore based operations, as well as providing a technical basis for inspections by the Competent Authority responsible for official controls of food safety. The requirements are equally applicable to inland and marine fisheries, and for different kinds of processing operations. It provides clear guidance regarding operating requirements for fish landing sites and fish processing establishments in the Caribbean, and will therefore contribute towards improved quality and compliance with export requirements.
